Every shop gets its own website at yourname.crochetify.app, or at your own domain on Pro. You pick a theme and set the colors, fonts, and homepage sections without writing code. Shoppers see your brand and your work, and no one else's listings.

Crochetify takes nothing from a sale on either plan. Etsy charges 6.5% of the item price and shipping, 3% + 25¢ to process the payment, and 20¢ per listing every 4 months. On a $45 order that comes to $4.73 in Etsy fees before Offsite Ads, compared with $1.61 in Stripe card fees on Crochetify.

Crochetify Basic is $9 a month and Pro is $19, and a year costs 10 months' price. Shopify's Basic plan is $39 a month in the US, and Shopify adds 2% to every sale taken through a payment provider other than its own.
Unlimited products for $9, where Big Cartel's free plan stops at 5
Big Cartel's free Gold plan lists up to 5 products, and its Platinum plan is $15 a month. Crochetify Basic lists unlimited products, orders, and collections for $9 a month, with digital downloads built in.
Made for crochet, not every kind of store
Digital pattern downloads, Etsy import, made-to-order listings, and a custom order form come with every Crochetify plan. On Shopify, pattern downloads and Etsy import each need an app from the Shopify App Store, and many of those apps charge their own monthly fee.
A handmade-only marketplace that sends buyers to your site
A person reviews every shop before it appears in the Crochetify marketplace, and shops with AI-generated product photos are not listed. When a shopper finds you there, they buy on your own site and Crochetify takes no commission. Etsy's Offsite Ads, by comparison, take 12% to 15% of an order they bring in.

The team behind Crochetify
Crochetify started in 2026, when Hannah went looking for a website for her own crochet business and found Shopify too expensive and too complicated for what she needed. She co-founded Crochetify as a simpler one for crocheters, and it opened to other makers the same year.

Why we built Crochetify
A while ago, I started looking into building a website for my own crochet business. I tried Shopify, but once the free trial ended it was too expensive, and it was far too complicated to set up for what I needed.
What I wanted was something simple, affordable, and built for crocheters, not a general store builder with a hundred features I'd never touch.
So we decided to build it ourselves. That's how Crochetify started.
We made it so crocheters can have their own professional shop without paying for things they don't need or spending hours on setup. As a crochet business owner myself, I know how much every dollar and every minute matters.
That's what keeps us focused: simple, affordable, and made for the crochet community.
