Terms of Service

Welcome to Crochetify. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

Crochetify is operated by Tracker LLC. In these terms, "Crochetify," "we," and "us" mean Tracker LLC.

Your account

You're responsible for your account, the products you list, and the content you upload. You must own or have the right to sell everything you offer, including any patterns and photos. Don't use Crochetify for anything illegal or to infringe someone else's rights.

Subscriptions and fees

Crochetify is offered as a paid monthly subscription per store. Your store's checkout stays off until your subscription is active. Crochetify takes 0% of your sales; payment processing fees are charged by Stripe directly. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard.

Payments and payouts

Sales are processed through Stripe Connect and paid out to your connected Stripe account. You're responsible for fulfilling orders, honoring your stated policies, and handling customer support, refunds, and any taxes you owe. Crochetify's Return and Refund Policy sets the minimum terms for purchases delivered in the United States. You may offer more flexible terms, but not less.

Content and conduct

You retain ownership of your content. You grant Crochetify a limited license to host and display it so we can run your store. We may remove content or suspend stores that violate these terms.

Community rules: zero tolerance for objectionable content

Crochetify has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. This applies to everything you post or send that another person can see, on the website and in the Crochetify app: listings, posts, stories, Club posts, comments, reviews, messages, and your name and photo.

You may not post or send anything that is sexual or pornographic; that threatens, harasses, bullies, or demeans a person; that promotes hatred of a person or a group; that promotes violence or cruelty; that is spam, a scam, or impersonates someone; or that breaks the law or someone's rights.

A word filter refuses the worst of it before it is posted. Everything else is yours to tell us about: every post, story, listing, comment, review, conversation, and shop in the app has a Report option, and every person has a Block option. Blocking someone hides their content from you at once and tells us about it.

We act on every report within 24 hours. Content that breaks these rules is removed, and the account that posted it is closed and barred from Crochetify. We decide what falls under these rules, and we may remove content or close an account for any reason, with or without notice.

Marketplace and promotional placement

Your Crochetify website is yours to run on any plan. The Crochetify marketplace, the shops list, the pattern catalog, the Crochetify app, and any other place Crochetify features or promotes makers are curated. To appear in them, you apply from your dashboard and Crochetify reviews your shop.

Crochetify may approve, reject, restrict, or revoke a shop's place in the marketplace and in promotional placements at its discretion. Approval is not guaranteed, and approval for the marketplace does not guarantee a featured or promotional placement, which Crochetify chooses separately. When we reject an application or revoke an approval, we tell you why and you can apply again after making changes.

The marketplace and the other curated places named above carry only crochet products made by you: pieces you crocheted, patterns you designed, kits built on your own pattern (the materials inside may be bought), tools you made, and yarn you dyed or spun. Items made by someone else, including resold goods, and knitted, sewn, or other non-crochet work may not be listed there. This rule is for the marketplace only: your own website can carry anything the rest of these terms allow. The Marketplace Policy explains the details and how to keep a listing off the marketplace.

Editorial standards. The marketplace and the other curated places named above have stricter standards than your website. Crochetify decides what fits them, and may leave off or take off any listing or shop that does not, even if these terms allow it on your website.

Your website does not depend on marketplace approval. A pending, rejected, or revoked application does not close your shop, stop your checkout, or change your subscription.

Original work, rights, and prohibited goods

You may only upload, list, or sell products and content that you created, own, or are authorized to use and sell. You may not list or sell plagiarized or unauthorized copies of patterns, photos, descriptions, branding, or other creator content; anything that infringes a copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property right; stolen or counterfeit goods; or mass-produced, wholesale, or dropshipped goods presented as handmade or as your own work. You may not make false claims about a product's maker, source, materials, or authenticity.

Crochetify may ask you for evidence that you have the right to use or sell something, such as an original photo, a pattern license, or proof of purchase, and may act under these terms if you do not provide it.

Code of ethics

Crochetify is a private platform, not a public forum. Makers sell their own work here, and hosting a listing does not mean we endorse it. We do not review every listing. But every shop on Crochetify, your website included, must follow a basic code of ethics. You may not list, sell, show, or share anything that:

Breaks the law, or helps someone break it.

Is sexual or pornographic.

Promotes violence, cruelty, or abuse toward people or animals.

Promotes hatred of a person or a group.

Deceives or defrauds buyers.

These rules are about what a listing shows or says, never who a maker is. Crochetify decides what falls under them. When we find or are told about something that breaks them, we may remove it, take your shop off the marketplace, or suspend your storefront, and we tell you why.

The marketplace and the Crochetify app hold a higher standard. See "Editorial standards" above.

Refusing and ending service

Crochetify may refuse service to anyone. We may remove any content, take any shop off the marketplace, or suspend or close any account or storefront, at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice. We never do so for a reason the law forbids.

You may stop using Crochetify and cancel your plan at any time.

If we close your store when you have not broken these terms, we refund the unused part of any plan payment you made in advance. If we close it because you broke these terms, no refund is owed.

Closing an account or a store does not end your responsibility for existing orders, refunds, disputes, fees, or other obligations. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last after an account closes, such as fees owed, the disclaimer, the limit of liability, and your indemnity, stay in effect.

Product photos and AI-generated images

Your Crochetify website is yours. You can use AI-generated images on it if you choose.

The Crochetify marketplace, the shops list, and anywhere Crochetify features or promotes makers are different. Shoppers come to those places trusting that every photo shows a real piece made by a real person. So a shop is eligible for them only while every product image on the shop follows the product photo policy below. This includes product photos, collection images, and banner or hero photos of your work.

Every photo must show the real item you're selling, photographed as it actually is. AI-generated content isn't allowed anywhere in the image.

Not allowed: photos of the product that were created or generated by AI; AI-generated backgrounds, scenery, props, or other objects added to a photo; and replacing a real background with an AI-generated one.

Allowed: cropping and straightening; adjusting lighting, brightness, contrast, and color; and removing the background with editing software, as long as the new background is transparent or plain white.

Rule of thumb: You can edit a real photo to make it look its best, but you can't add anything that wasn't there when you took it.

If we find product images on a shop in the marketplace that break this policy, we will tell you why and remove the shop from the marketplace and from promotion. Your website keeps working. Take the images down and ask us to look again, and we will.

Sales between makers and buyers

Crochetify provides the tools makers use to sell. Each sale is between the maker and the buyer, and Crochetify is not a party to it. Makers alone are responsible for their products, including their quality, safety, legality, description, and delivery. Crochetify is not responsible for any product, or for anything a maker or a buyer does or fails to do.

Third-party services

Crochetify relies on other companies, such as Stripe for payments. Your use of their services is governed by their terms, and Crochetify is not responsible for them.

Changes to the service

We may change, add, or remove any feature of Crochetify, or stop offering it, at any time.

Disclaimer

Crochetify is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors, that your data will not be lost, or that you will make any sales.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Crochetify and its owners, employees, and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, that arise from your use of the service, even if we were told they were possible.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Crochetify's total liability for all claims about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid Crochetify in the 12 months before the claim, or $100.

Some places do not allow these limits, so some of them may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and hold harmless Crochetify and its owners, employees, and partners from any claim, loss, or cost, including reasonable legal fees, that comes from your content, your products, your sales, your use of the service, or your breach of these terms or the law.

General

These terms and the policies they name are the whole agreement between you and Crochetify. If a court finds part of them unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce a part of them, we do not give up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them.

Changes
