A $0.20 listing fee each time a listing is published or renews, a 6.5% transaction fee on the item price plus shipping, and payment processing (3% plus $0.25 an order in the US, more in some countries). If the order came through one of Etsy's Offsite Ads, another 15% of the order, or 12% once your shop has sold $10,000 in a year, the point at which taking part stops being optional. The calculator adds these up for your own sales figures and shows each line.

No. Crochetify charges a flat plan, $9 a month on Basic or $19 on Pro, and takes 0% of every sale. The one cost on a sale is card processing, charged by Stripe (2.9% + 30 cents in the US) and taken out before the money reaches your bank. The calculator lists it separately, because it goes to Stripe rather than to Crochetify.

It depends on how much you sell. Etsy's fees grow with every order, while a storefront plan stays flat, so the more you sell the more a flat plan tends to favor you; at a few sales a month Etsy's per-sale fees can total less than a subscription. Enter your own numbers to see where the lines cross. The calculator does not promise savings: Etsy also brings shoppers, and your own site asks you to bring them.

Because a real statement depends on things a calculator cannot see: how many items each order held, which cards your shoppers used, whether tax was charged, and what share of your Etsy orders came through an ad. Percentages here are taken on monthly totals and rounded once, where the platforms round every charge. Treat the results as close, and check the sources for the exact terms.
